THE RICH HERITAGE OF THE JOGNE VALLEY

Panneau Sapin

The route from Broc-Fabrique railway station to the village of Jaun, via Charmey, features almost 60 descriptive panels near buildings or places that are emblematic of living traditions.

Pierre-Philippe Bugnard, Emeritus Professor of History at the University of Fribourg, assisted with the French-language heritage panels, while Werner Schuwey, a connoisseur of the history of the commune of Jaun, contributed to the German-language heritage panels.

A QR code on each panel links to translations and additional information (content and old photos).
