The Gruyère Pays-d'Enhaut Regional Nature Park does not have its own visitor reception area. Instead, a number of Info points (Relais infos) have been set up in the various regions. Each Info point consists of a panel with a topographical map showing the points of interest and a newspaper specific to the theme in question that visitors can take away with them, all in three languages (French, German, English).

Mountain chalet visits

This Info point is given over entirely to the alpine economy: images, texts and maps guide you through a journey into the heart of mountain farming. The accompanying brochure has details of 15 different visits to alpine chalets in the Park, including contact details, directions and an introduction to cheese-making.

In Château-d'Œx, sustainable tourism offerings for the whole family are highlighted. It's an opportunity to discover the Park with activities accessible to everyone.

The Park's outstanding natural aeras

This Info point showcases 15 outstanding natural areas which bear witness to the birth of the Alps. All are within the Park’s perimeter and each one demonstrates the processes that have shaped, and continue to shape, the Alpine landscape that we know and admire today. Activities include hiking trails that take in some well-known sites like Lake Lioson, as well as hidden gems such as the Le Dâ waterfall.

The alpine season

This Info point presents fifteen ideas for excursions on the theme of the mountain pasture season, from the Forge de Charmey to the Chemin de Remue de Sonchaux, via the essential living traditions of tavillon making, poyas and the Désalpes.

Regional products from the park

In Gruyères, the focus is on local products from the Park. This is an opportunity to discover or rediscover new flavours and producers, 11 of whom offer products with the Swiss Park Product label. A new feature at Gruyères is the replacement of the touch table with a web application that can be accessed by scanning the QR code found on the Relais or its newspaper.

Religious heritage in the park

This information point is given over to the Park’s sacred heritage. There are an impressive number of churches, chapels, wayside and mission crosses, as well as the renowned Cluny site in Rougemont and the Charterhouse of la Valsainte in Cerniat.
