Abländschen: a dreamy hamlet set against the backdrop of the Gastlosen mountain range

The Gastlosen tour
The tour of the Gastlosen passes through forests and meadows, skirting the limestone walls where climbers from all over Switzerland come to train. There are three chalets-buvettes along the way, where you can refuel and enjoy the terraces. The Gastlosen Express chairlift provides easy access to the trail.

The museum bears witness to a bygone era of everyday life in the mountains, with a wealth of objects from everyday life on display. With its collection of over 600 cut-outs, as well as old and contemporary works, the Musée du Pays-d'Enhaut has become one of Switzerland's leading centres for the art of paper-cutting.
