Itinerary
The walk starts in the village of Rossinière. The path crosses the Sarine river and follows the left shore of the Lac du Vernex before ascending gently to the Chalet du Carra. The trail crosses the Torrent des Riz before continuing underneath the majestic Dent de Corjon. It eventually passes two mountain farms: first, the Dent de Corjon and then Les Châtelards. From here, it is a short walk down to Pierra Derrey, then Pierra Devant. The path crosses the L’Hongrin river and another short walk leads to the Auberge de la Croix de Fer in Allières.
